Relief structure with Tuck on a Double Bed

  • Relief structure with Tuck on a Double Bed
  • Tuck relief pattern from the back

Description

Relief surface on the double bed using pull-up stitches on the main bed.

Instruction:

1

Cast on a 1-1 rib knit on the double bed.

2

Knit four rows with the carriage in basic position A.

3

To achieve a visible relief effect, the tension on the ribber bed should be tighter than the tension on the main bed.

4

To achieve a contrasted effect between tuck stitches and relief parts, we need a thread into P. This will plate a yarn in the ribber bed side.

Thread in this thiner thread carefully using latch tool. (to make it easier you should push the carriage to the end of the beds, where you don't have the needles underneath. then use the latch tool through the two holes to pull the thread from under the machine.)

5

Open the knitting file.

6

Select Interactive Knitting - Change the knit method to " texture pattern on the right side " (Menu > Options > Knitting technique).

7

Synchronize the computer with the carriage. Knit.

8

Change the carriage settings to position B - Jacquard - and knit.

9

After some rows you can recognize that the pattern is been knitted.

10

Keep on kitting and check that the needles are selected depending on the pattern.
